Our team of volunteer community first responders have access to 7 Defibrillators which we placed with responders based on their home/work location within our coverage area.

In addition to our responders defibs our community is lucky to have a large number of defibs in various locations across the wider area as seen on the map below. We always recommend taking the time to go check out your nearest Defib and familiarising how to open the cabinet and if it requires a code etc…… So that in an emergency you can retrieve your nearest defib easily!

Defibs come in all shapes, sizes and colours but ultimately they all do the same job! Modern defibs are very easy to use and designed to be self explanatory with visual and voice prompts.

We have found that the most common make and model of defib in the community is  ZOLL AED Plus, which looks like:

The ZOLL AED Plus supports provides real-time audio and visual feedback on CPR compression rate and depth to guide users in performing high-quality CPR.

Learn how to operate the AED Plus defibrillator by watching some training videos.
